My wife is divorcing me, so I decided I am going to live out of my Land Cruiser to save money to move and get myself another place to live. So............ I have always thought about a Fridge/Freezer. Of all the ones out there I figure the National Luna will suit my needs the best. However I don't know who would carry the model I am interested in. Any ideas?

50-litre Weekender

I was also looking at a Power Gate dual battery set up, but I was informed that Power Gate is coming out with a kit specifically for the 100 series so I am probably going to wait for that to show up.

Yes I thought they might carry them and will check with him tomorrow after my shift. Getting ready to get to bed now. Thanks, as they say 's*** happens'.

Sorry about the divorce, man.

Equipt carries NL fridges. You might want to email/call Paul May to see if he can get that specific model for you.

X2. Paul is a great guy and you won't have to worry about after sale support should you need it with Paul.

I was thinking of a roof tent. However at first just a regular tent, a large dome one would probably be best.

Yeah when I get in I am going to see what my finances are, and go from there. Going to be an ice chest first, and the tent. When I have the money I will get the fridge/freezer and a dual battery set up. I want the new one Spresso was telling me about though from Power Gate.

I have the waeco CF-50 and it is a big frig but then again I have a BJ42 which doesnt help? 50qt is actually a pretty good size frig though?

good luck, have fun

After reading the comparison between all the fridge/freezers, I really like the National Luna the best. Thanks for responding.

The PowerGate is the best designed Dual Battery Isolator I could find. I just purchased their brand new model. There is really no voltage loss and it does not heat-up like all of the other systems that are not as efficient.

Sorry to hear about the divorce. If it makes you feel any better, I am single and I can tell you it does not suck in the least...:) Good luck on your transition.
