Thought I'd clean my injectors today and was greeted by the sludgiest most clogged injectors Ive seen in my life. Only 1 out of 6 were not fully occluded. Its a miracle this thing was driving before I took it a part. How should I go about preventing this in the future? New fuel filter installed already.

A majority of our local "non" ethanol stations still test positive for ethanol. Even non ethanol fuel has a shelf life of 30-45 days, same as 10% ethanol,;because there are no stabilizers in the fuel anymore

Add stabilizer at every fuel fill up. Unless she's a daily driver.

I quit chasing non ethanol fuel many years ago and now treat every gas can with marine stabil. I've had fuel in the same generator for up to 3 years without issue. I wouldn't recommend pushing it that far but she was still a 2 pull starter Chinese knockoff Honda eu3000i after sitting 6-9 months.

For equipment that I know isnt likely to burn out fuel in the next couple weeks I step up to either mid grade or high octane.
