What is this hose? more specifically, does anyone have a part number for it? mine leaks and I need a new one. The toyota dealer was no help whatsoever.

Not sure about the name but maybe Heater Pipe Hose? :meh:

Heater hose, 87245-60490 Bought mine at the dealership I work at. Took a couple tries for the parts guys to order the right number. I would have been better off buying bulk hose and saving myself the trouble. You'd be surprised how little people know about Land Cruisers.

Haha, no I wouldn't. The parts guy I talked to looked at the computer for about 35 seconds then told me he couldn't find it/didn't have it. So I said thanks and left. Unless you get lucky, most dealers just aren't around them enough to be familiar with them.

Sweet. I may go the bulk hose route because I'm sure Toyota will want to sell me the whole tube/hose combo. Thanks.

Looks like 5/8" hose. Go to Autozone and get it bulk, save you some $$. If you want to make the bends, get the springs to bend the hose, they got them also. I used it on a 3FE, but it should be no difference. you can also get all those hoses in polyurethane, probably $$.

Beno or Cdan can help, you can buy the individual hose seperately... I replaced all hoses with American Toyota goodness, and some Gates pieces as well.

I am compiling a huge list of parts for American Toyota... My wallet has been getting harder and harder to locate these last couple days. I think it's onto me....

I would personally name that hose George. Looks like a George.

Just replaced that one with 5/8" bulk heater hose. Worked beautifully. Looks like the part is NLA for ny '94.

I also agree, George is a fitting name for it.
