Does anyone know what this part is,
how hard it is to get off, and if it can be replaced easily?
and where to get it?

I don't know who's 4Runner this is, but I borrowed the pic - thanks.,

The EPC calls it a "Quarter Ventilation Louver". They are a pain to get off, that's for sure. You have to remove the seatbelt hanger and pull away the interior trim, there should be a couple of nuts to reach from inside. They break very easily.

I doubt the dealer can get these anymore, but it's worth a try if you want them perfect. My son and I are currently parting out his '89 4Runner, I don't think his are sold yet, if you're interested.

I'm glad you clarified the ownership on that truck. I was gonna bust your chops for that FUGLY bumper!

I agree on the bumper, I'm not sure where the logic was in painting it bright green with black - to each their own I guess.

Those tires are 34inch super swampers or something like that I believe. don't know the exact specs, sorry.
Thanks for the part information.

I'm definitely interested in purchasing your parts KLF = I'll PM you when I know which side it is I need.

so there is a method to removing those without damaging them....

you ever feel like the japenese engineers are over there snickering at the thot of us struggling with this sort of thing? especially the oilpan on the IFS trucks :ugh:

Ya, I really wish they had put a little more thought into some of the fasteners and clips they used on these trucks. Some of them are pretty much impossible to get apart without breaking, like the clips that hold the main wiring harness under the dash, and those funky tie-wrap things under the hood.

And I won't touch the windshield trim. Too hard to get it to stay on.

I havn't actually seen this myself, or tried it yet - but I think that the method to removing those b-pillars/louvres is to take out the inside panneling then remove whatever hardware is found...I would hope that it wouldn't be too hard. But interior stuff (though this is exterior) can be a PITA.

just my guess...

Anyone know what tires are on that thing? They look tough! :D

there definatelly a super swamper! they could either be an SSR which is a rediculously heavy tire or maybe even a TSL which is still very aggressive and look awesome but just not as heavy or as tall a lug.
