I feel bad about saying this, but, the national club is just a name to me. But I've been around for 6 -7 years, still a newbie i feel like.
if there was a TLCA event.... not a sanctioned local club event, but an actual TLCA event then maybe I'd feel different. like a big annual convention.
Seems to me that the national club needs local clubs to live but in the case of new local clubs, makes it seem like they don't really need us...

Rubithon is the national event and I can tell you, it is an amazing feat those guys pull off....awesome event. I think the GATOR thing was another attempt at a more central national event and it was a flop from all I can tell.

Hell, all of ours and the LSLC events are "national"

the only reason im in is that i thought it was a prerequisite to being in CLC...

Rubithon may be cancelled this year due to heavy snow pack in the area. Hell, they opened the ski resorts this weekend!
