Hi there, I'm a n00b here but not to Toyotas or TLCA (had some mini trucks). I just finally got an 80, a '95 w/ lockers, over 170k miles, in overall decent shape but a few minor issues.

I was browsing and searching this forum prior to buying so it's already been a huge help - the collective knowledge here is fantastic! Hopefully I can contribute something down the road.

My 80 needs some TLC & maintenance before it gets wheeled, so I'm anxious to get started on it. No doubt I'll be asking some n00b questions and reading the FAQs, searching, etc.

Welcome. Congrats on buying the most factory off-road capable truck around(other than the unimog).

Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome!

Today I got the CDL working, and then the FR and RR lockers - thanks to posts on this forum. Free is good.

Too bad it's raining out, but it's a good day to develop a list of all that needs to be done. This should be fun!

Congrats and Welcome you have a plethora of info here as you already know and a tight knit group of great people on this board!

Nice truck!! NEED SOME PICTURES!!

Rain? You've got lockers...you can go anywhere you want with just LTXs!!!

Yeah, but I wanted to get underneath it and start working on it today! That's no fun in the rain.:crybaby:;)

I wanna get down to URE before they close the trails for the winter.

North meets South trip is the 8-10th of December, you should make it out there, You also just missed a great wheeling oppurtunity in Cullowhee, NC. Check out the SC-Upstate Cruiser Club area on here and you'll see some good pics and lots of info on trail rides near us.
