Well, now that I've got the spotlight actually working I dont feel so bad about having drilled that 1/2" hole using a 1' long bit but damn it still hurts thinking about it.

tonight will be the first night of it actually working. My friend forced me to let him come over tuesday night and let him use his new cordless drill on the pillar.

dont mind my stupid neighbor not bringing his garbage can in this morning....and yes thats a hybrid tahoe down the road. I'll wait till it gets darker and go find an unlit street to light up, but you can for sure drive around with just that, its got a 55w H3 bulb. Its like having a Hella 500 driving light on a swivel base.

If I had angled the light just a little more you could easily point it straight back along the bodyline of the car, but its got a good enough range as is.

All Credit goes to SinCity100 on that...I should have listened and only gone up 2 inches from the template(its for a 80) instead of the 6 I did.

thank you man, I felt on the verge of tears the other night when I realized I should have listened to my original self and gone only a little bit up not all the way. Now I either need another light to balance it off on the passenger side or a snorkel to draw attention away.
 
Snorkel would be cool.

Get some Lexus mats, I believe they come in plush PINK shag carpet.

Stop posting about your cop light and install those headers, please!
 
I think the same. im going to check into that custom intake this week again...of course AFTER my headers are on.
 
it involves the safari snorkel, and a few special touches under the hood.


BTW, I now know how the guys with roof lights feel when they have flashback/glare at night from either dust/rain. Just drove in drizzle with the spotlight on pointed straight forward, think I need to paint my hood black.
