cant personally say but i know that bilsteins are a popular choice with 40s alot, u can measure your flex and order accordingly, hoping to get a 55 within a couple weeks so im watching with much interest, but i plan on putting in the ford towers and going bilsteins, probably alcans for leafs almost your setup

You never know, Ferd towers may be in my future

Very cool to see your progress! Gettin me itchy to get moving on my pig again.

Are those rocker sliders from IPOR?

Any mods needed to your driveline with this set-up?

Sliders are 4x4 square tube built by Calstyl2 (Thanks, Rob. I've already beat them up pretty good). I can lift the whole side of the truck of the ground with my hi-lift centered on the nerf. Thinking I might need to get a 60" hi-lift now with these springs.

So far, the driveline seems ok. After I get some shocks and get it on trail I'll know for sure

Call MAF and talk to Steve about your lift and shackle height and see if they can come up with the right shock for you, but with a 55 it might be guessing.

Looks much better. Does it ride better?

So far, yes. But hard to tell without shocks. All I've done is putz around the neighborhood.

Doetsch's look pretty good so far. I will be calling them in the morning.

So you guys know:

Shock length at static:
21 1/2" front
21 1/4" rear

Shock length at full droop:
24 3/4" front
24 3/4" rear

Doetsch shocks and steering stabaliser are ordered. I should receive them Thursday. Will update then.

OK............

Doetsch shocks are on. Took it for a shake down run. I have the rear bumper back on, with the spare and 2 full jerry's.

The rear shackles (5 1/2" pin to pin) tucked right up to the frame and are bottoming out.

I've searched, and used my geometry skills, and need to know if I'm on the right track by going to shorter shackles.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, now I'm thinking the rear springs are too long.

Does anybody know the stock spring dimensions from the center pin out?

look at your pic, definetely longer

yeah, but hard to tell without a load on them. They were sitting nicely until I put about 50 miles on them with a little bit of weight (mind you, no where near the weight I specified in the order)

I'll talk to them in the morning
