wow, very nice, just take care of it! And please get it treated every winter!!

You did get a good deal. But again its all in who you run into, but I dont think you would hav ea prob making $. (Which might not be a real bad thing if you are looking fro something to offroad in. I would be scared to death I might dent it.
Again looks very nice!! How did you find it?

Is that rust on the inside of the body, b-pillar between the passenger side doors?

I think you scored, but PLEASE pay close attention to the engine. That's *very little miles* per year, which means that truck sat for long periods of time without running. Oil drains out of the top of the engine, so make sure the valves and seats are in good shape, switch the oil to synthetics, and don't rev the engine too high for a while.

You don't think that it the wheels also could have been turned somewhat do you? The truck was like new. 1 female owner, never offroad, good colors, low miles, Bought new here in Dallas and I got it from her. There was still plastic on the original floor mats, never used. 16k is a lot of $, but if its what I wanted, I would still ask myself, what can you buy for 16k these days? You guys evidently haven't been looking at the trader lately. An 97 80 series with 20k miles sold for $32k and that was done in your neighborhood AL.

Exiled,
no its not rust, i checked. i drove it on teh highway, didnt go over 65 or so. nor did ever rev past 2500. it runs very nice, lots of power.

Yeah, you could flip it and make a profit, but don't base anything on TLC. Their prices are based on total teardown and rebuild with all new parts. Totally, totally unrealistic prices.

If you do sell it, please make sure it goes to a fellow cruiserhead who will take care of it and treat it right. The point brought up earlier about seeing it go to the Southwest is true. If you drove that thing regularly in the East it would succumb to rust faster than you can comprehend.

Good luck. :flipoff2:

Looks like a super clean Cruiser. Good score Wagoneer5!!

Wtf worth 20k U$D ?
I'd rather get a decent cruiser, with no to little rust, for around 5k$ stick in a brand new diesel engine, a 5speed tranny, all that for WAY under 20k$.
Here's an exemple of a nice cruiser : http://ads.cruizers.com/classifieds.cfm?adID=1055

Already has a 12ht engine.. for wayyyyyy less than 20k$!!!
What's more, it's Canadian $$$
So, like someone already said " A new sucker is born everyday "
hahaha, that's your best bet.

My 2 cents

ill take more pics when i get a chance, by the time i get back from work its dark out.

Not trying to make you feel bad, but my 1990 with 135K looks a lot cleaner, especially once you start opening the doors, hood, etc. Mine has absolutely zero rust. I'm surprised that with such low miles yours already has quite a few rust areas. Take care of them quick.

as everyone has said to me:

YOU SUCK !!:flipoff2:

sounds like a great score...7K is a little high in my opinion
Post up some pics
