what are your impressions of it? Everything I've read says it is extremely durable after the control box is sealed up. I've almost bought one a few times. :hmm:

Haven't installed it yet. Ill let you know but first impressions are good. Plus for $299 I don't think you can go wrong.

Your sliders are almost finished, one more good night in the shop and they should be ready to go.

Sweet. Thanks man. That's awesome.

Cable is your break point...boss has one on the 3500 and it kinked on the second use and needs a new cable

I can get a good marine grade quality line for $70-100 if it screws up or a $150 synthetic line on ebay

That's an excellent price on synthetic I would think. Marine grade line will work? Does it have the proper attachments for the drum and all?

I'm putting it the winch on Friday night I hope by the way.

wire is cheap to replace.

I've been running a vipir 5k lb winch on my polaris ranger and use this same rope. Been great so far. Cheaper than amsteel blue rope. Rope has about a four

I thought about a cheap winch cover to keep the element of it, but probably wont.

I took off the running boards today. I'm ready for those sliders!

On a separate note, does anybody have any ideas on how to get the mud that is caked under the truck off? A normal hose with an attachment won't cut it and my pressure washer wand is too long to get at it really well. Any ideas would be great.

The FAQ suggest a lawn sprinkler. I have done that before with acceptable results.

I've done it all night with terrible results. Alabama mud is not typical mud. I suggest a pressure washer and blow the gunk away. Just buy a stubby wand.

Aren't the tubes angled up like another set you built? Hard to tell for sure from the pics. Looks good!
