I admire the way you use your rig, the way it should be. Your giving me some good ideas for mine. I'm doing a little work on my rig, but I sure am enjoying driveing it in the process.

Thanks MDT,i was lucky to buy it with many upgrades,otherwise and with this economy it would very slow to get it the way that i have it now. I enjoy all the post here and the effort -ideas of the fellows on their own rigs..many thanks again to all

who made your tailgate?
how do your doors work (latch closed?)
does your back seat latch down? or how does all that work?
what kind of wheels are those and did you have to modify anything to make them work?
what kind of top is that?
and on a more personal level do you mind sharing yr on road MPG?

tube doors i use cheap wood fence locks.:eek:

does your back seat latch down? or how does all that work?

back seat from suzuki sidekick..not lock at all,but its fine.no vibrations...

rims 16x7 4 runner steel spare that i buy of ebay( 250.00 (5) with free shipping. spacers 1 1/2 came with the 40 already

i figured it was a STC... i wont buy a soft top till i can get one like yrs w/the removable side windows i had the current besttop where the windows just role up and that was a PITA and scratched teh windows really badly and since they are outa business i guess im going to be rocking the hardtop till i can afford a ehsan top or bestop reintroduces their older top

can you post pics of your door latches?

and can you tell me what we are looking at here i dont quite follow

Yes.its a STC top,i plan to use OEM paki top,i have the bows already here,but that involve also made a new roof rack tubes-support..so its will take a few months-money before i put for sale my current top.

On that picture,the 3 pieces are for hold the weight when someone are in the rear seat and for the top plate.
I dont have a picture right now of the tube doors but i will tomorrow...cheap locks for wood fences doors,,:meh:

Awesome rig to say the least. So how does the grill attach to the swing away and how do you store it when underway?
