I wrapped my interior with some raw carbon style vinyl and hand stitched a perforated leather cover on my steering wheel to match how modern the Tesla screen looks! Loving the screen and will not be going back to my stock nav unit. If you guys have any questions let me know!

It's a genuine leather kit I got on eBay, cost about 55 bucks and was worth every penny, very high quality and it smells amazing.. was it a pain, yes, it was a total pain lol but 5 hours of pain was well worth the finished product... thicker wheel, more modern and again smells like a new pair of nice shoes

It's Sergey's firmware and I love it.. worth every penny spent! The only issue this unit gives is that the apple Carplay only works a few times on fast boots, then you have to do a hard reboot to restart that unit and it's good to go.. my approach to this issue is to set the unit to do a hard reboot after it's been off for 8 hrs.. so every night basically! Get's me through the usual day!

To Bring this back from the dead... What Screen did you purchase? The one I had in my GX when I bought it would drain the battery if the car sat over 3 days. Tried everything to stop it but was a no go. I ended up pulling it since I travel and the car sits at airport. Have you had a battery drain problem?

Also, I see you have the same problem as me, wrapping the shift knob is a pain and after a few days in the heat I get the wrinkles too. I did all my wood in an ebony matte wood.

Yeah mine doesn't have a draw issue but that's entirely subject to how it's wired... I finally got tired of the stock shift knob: I've tried a gx460 in piano black and hated how bulbous it looked and also a full black leather ls430 knob that seems to be the losest thing to perfect...
