My kid wanted a Jeep, she's getting a 77 FJ40 LS Swap instead

Went to a car show with both 40’s, no trophies but a great day with a bunch of the local guys. It was a sight to see having so many LCs in one place. Black and white photos are courtesy of Sergey, super cool!

Had a small ATF leak from the A/A Adapter, must be something with the casting that could be a small fissure allowing oil to pass by the bolt threads. I removed the bolt and cleaned the threads and used ATF sealant on the bolt and put it back in. Only time will tell after its run for a while and up to temp. I checked the transfer case too, no ATF passing through so thats good news.
I changed the battery while I was at it, the H6 fit the tray and was about another 100CCA too compared to the 5 year old 24F battery.

Hold my beer, I'm gonna try something.....When I built the truck I used a set of BMW seats, I pulled them after installing the center console. The drivers seat was rubbing against the console, the passenger seat was a little too tall and the seat didn't allow anyone the ability to get in the back. I tore apart the BMW seat and a stock seat too, the seat base was the easy part. It took a little mental math to make the upper work. I happy to report that the outcome was a success.

So this is the reference JohnnyC was talking about. Kid took her friend for a ride, didn’t notice the parking brake was on and then parked it inside and then sent me the clip. Got home in about 5 min, total heart failure.
Had no clue the brake was on, just it felt sluggish. And yes, the garage doors were closed.
