The perfect combo and trip! Time in the desert ripping around in trucks, motos, and bikes while camping and doing a bit of shooting.

It’s pretty freaky! My friends had never experienced anything like that in a truck and were holding on for dear life haha

I’ve got some videos with the exhaust cut out open. I’ll try and figure out how to upload them below.
Looking forward to the videos!

How's your rear door holding up? I'm torn between doing a Prado spare door conversion or frame mounted swing out. Running 285/70R17's as well, so I'm curious how it's held up after all of this time.

It’s been great granted I don’t really open it all that often with my bike rack on the back. For the driving (and jumps) it’s been on for and everything still seems as it was when I installed it, I can’t complain. It’s earned my trust

In other news, I took the truck out to SW Colorado at the end of July to meet up with family and it performed great.

The only issue I had was with the AC condenser. I think fighting it to get the new radiator in place (after it got hit by a piece of a 2x4 on the highway when I had yet to mount up the center section of my low profile bumper after trimming the stock bumper) accelerated the fatigue cracking until a couple weeks ago I pulled into the driveway and found it hissing out.

I’ve got a brand new Koyoair condenser and drier desiccant so I’ll be diving into that soon.

Other than that, I hit the paint with some griot’s 3 in 1 ceramic wax coating and wow. Been very impressed. Eventually I’d like to do a cut and polish on the paint, but that’ll have to wait.

It was nice running into you at Imogene! You helped me take a photo at poser rock in the white GX.
