Greetings from a fellow Hokie. I am jealous and inspired at the same time. I bought my 40 a while back and beat it to death wheeling around BBurg and other parts of VA and am now in the early stages of restoration. Where did you get all that primo work done? It looks amazing.

Have fun at the spring game. I'll be headed down for graduation as the last of my friends finally graduate.

Thanks! I did a lot myself, but the final finish was done by Proffitts Cruisers.

I just got home, and sat in the Cruiser in the dark for a few mins. Sunday is 1 hr shorter! Hopefully, Ill be driving it before lunch tomorrow (today).

very nice!! love the fenders

That is one awesome 40!!

I think I'd try it out on that big green box right behind it...ya know... just to have some cool pics :bang: ....
must be why mine doesn't look like yours :grinpimp:

Looks FUNtastic :steer:

Since that is an electrical box, I think I'll stay off of it!

It sure looks like that thing has lights on it. I'd be out driving it every day. You've been waiting a LONG time.

Are your rear springs flipped, and if so what brand aux tank is that you are running in back? Your truck turned out very nice.

FJ55 rear springs, front and rear! Similar to what Woody did on his! That Aux tank I got from a friend. I think it is identical to the one you see everone else selling, can't remember who makes it!

Hi All:

Nice build Sean! I've followed your posts on the LCML in years past.

It appears that there is a York compressor on the passenger's side of the engine; where has the alternator been relocated to?

I have to say that the 'ole 2F looks a bit out of charactoer in that fancy, shiny rig - like there ought to be a Vortec V-8 or something under the hood!

Regards,

Alan

Shame on you!!;)

Those lights ought to improve your putting at night on the Southern Pines golf courses. :D

TJK

It might be the only way I get on at Southern Pines Lodge and Resort! We've been battling them over some zoning issues for a large development they want to do. I used to sneak on that land with my Kawasaki Mule!:steer: I might have to sneak in on the 40 now! :D
