So Nick.... I know a guy, a Frenchman, who drove back and forth from Paris to Dubai in his 100 series. With his wife in One direction and with his wife and baby and the other. In a 100 series. Have you considered maybe taking a trip down to the Middle East?

And I've got the 1HD-T and a 1HZ already in pieces in case you get bored. Comprehensive rebuild kit including Pistons and valves coming from Engines Australia arriving 1 June. I could meet you there!

I’ve been neglecting this thread a bit… but I made it to Morocco! What a culture shock that was.

I took the ferry from Spain to Tangier and spent a couple weeks touring around. Morocco is GORGEOUS. The scenery, the wilderness. Terrific.

I did a little bit of wheeling in Erg Chebbi which was touristy as hell. I wasn’t able to make it to Erg Chigaga, but maybe one day.
