First off, it was a very well-planned event and obviously took a lot of time on the part of many folks. Great site, good camping. The s***ters were a little full, but not a big deal. The park itself has great potential.
I had a chance to put faces with a lot of names on the MudBoard and met some new guys/gals as well. This was my first outing of this kind and if I can get a little more courage, will go again.
Now enters my virgin wheeling experience.....Started out on the green #20 trail not knowing what to expect. After finishing I think an extra pair or two of underwear and a pint of liquid courage might have helped. I wired my ARB wrong and although I was pushing those little buttons, my rear was locked from the first time I engaged it
, which may have accounted for my rig sliding downhill when I didn't want it to. Also running a little less than 40# of air in the tires might help, too. And when you pack a s***load of tools for the trip, don't leave them back at camp.
This pic was taken by my passenger where trail #20 crosses a black trail that goes straight up a rock wash. Thank God you cannot see the look on my face....I am definitely a wus. All I ended up with was a slightly bent mirror and a bruised ego.
Still had a great time.
Thanks to all,
Ed

I'd be interested in the one of your runner getting air toward the end of album one. If you can take it off-line and email it to me with some info on the trail etc. 66fj40 at cox dot net
