So the front bumper still ain't quite done. The LED drivin' lights are installed but Viking sent the wrong rope so we had to send it back for exchange and the license plate bracket got back ordered. :rolleyes:

Also gonna add a LED light bar later on. But we zip-tied the plate on so I could scoot
'round town just a bit. :steer:

And she scoots a lil' better with the new exhaust. A noticeable improvement on the throttle response since she can breathe better. Still gotta swap out the computer tho at some point to really let the horses run. But gotta admit the deep rumble of the new exhaust made my il' pecker hard as a canna corn. :D Ain't no mistakin' this ain't got no minivan motor.

Bolted on a brand-spanky-new pair of MOPAR mirrors onto the half doors and threw 'em on. Damned lucky the ones I bought are close enuf in color to be tolerable 'till I paint the whole rig later on.

While I would opine that your new friend has destroyed you ability/passion to post well-written tales...I do enjoy seeing updates to your non-Toyota builds. Hope all is well...
 
Thanks Garth ... all is well indeed.

Since the rig turned out to be a piece of crap ... I named 'er the Turd ... and it's as much jeep as my last rig was Ty-ota. And gettin' less and less jeep ev'ry day. When the Turd's done the only unmolested jeep parts remainin' will be the grille and the stupid-ass curved windshield. :meh:

And the latest update is that new rear suspension ain't worth a fawk and is gettin' cut off. :grinpimp:

Brackets hang down too far and the 4-link design binds up when articulated. :bang:

Gonna go to Plan B ... :cheers:

A la Chingada, What the hell? didn't you paid good money for this junk? A jeep is a Jeep and it's a piece of crap if you ask me. good for the mall and street but that's just about it.

Why do you have to say mes' skins and not someone else? ...That's horse sh!t right there.

...Lol but I Hate to admit it but you're right about the Mexi- can.... but not about the jeeps.


any modifications you make to a Xeep is going to cost you an arm an a leg.... in our area are very few can afford the mods that a any Xeep require.

Starting with gears, if you putting a lift with 33's perhaps, the power band sucks.... now that don't happen with our Land cruisers; They come with 4:11 and it will still run on the highway at a descent speed and :flipoff2: the Xeepers when you passed them.

As usual I am a big hater.... that Stupid duty looks nice... I am beginning to think that may be my Paloma could be a good platform for those long trips that I am planning on doing when I get old...
