Hey there,

Just thought I would say hello and intro this 45LWB. I recently got this rig in trade for my old 55 that was nicely built. I am still figuring out the details on what exactly to do with this old girl.... I should be wheeling it a little here soon and will update the thread with some pics but as of now it has recently rec's saginaw PS conversion, 37 SSR's, has disc front, 4 speed tranny, 2.5 " lift with a silly 3" body lift, has bikini top, 1/2 doors, hard doors and hard top, longer bikini top and soft doors, recently cleaned up the hard top and installed headliner...it came to me with a OE PTO which I traded to a friend, installed Warn 9000 instead... it has an interesting history.. from the looks of the frame rails, it once had a 350, came from Jersey (though it is not too rusty at all so it was cared for properly), it was used in a Safari theme park, then someone used it for mud boggin in the pine barrens (hence the body lift to fit larger tires with minimal lift), and now it runs around eastern PA with me smiling in the driver seat:grinpimp: neat rig:cheers:

it is a 66' with the bronze tag thingy....

The rear fender flares are "interesting", it came with some that are wider as well to cover larger tires...

What do you mean the rear signal lights don't fit the front end?

The front axle is from an '80 FJ-40...... the rear looks original though both are 4.10 3rds...

I think he means the tail lights are from a later model, the round tail lights would be proper for that vintage. Are you going to have this at the Fall Crawl next week?

I swapped the rear crossmember out on one of my '64 FJ40's to get the tail lights that you've got on you FJ45.

I'm pretty sure these are what your should look like..................

ah... I see now, thanks for schooling me!

I'll look at the cross member to see what occured... that might explain why the reverse lights aren't working, have yet to look.

Dave, I am not sure what I am bringing to the Fall Crawl, may just drive it there and ride with my buddy.

I just picked up an '85 minitruck to spare the 45 from trail beatings : )
