Well bringing this back up. Some part's i ordered:
Head Gasket Set,
ARP Head Studs,
LC Extended Header Studs,
LC Street Header Gaskets.

Going to install port and polished head's and my NWOR header's that i have had for awhile. Still looking into a Flex-A-Lite fan. Will keep you all posted.

Well i got a Flex-A-Lite Black Magic S Blade fan. So it look's like the process will start this weekend. I will also be welding up light tab's to the front bumper and mounting some light's, have yet to figure out what kind yet. Picture's will come will more information on the build.

Are the LC studs and gaskets better for the header installations? I have a set of Downey headers that I picked up for a motor that I am rebuilding for my 88 and I had been looking at some of the LC products.

I am also interested in the fan install. May be something for me to look into while I am swapping the engine out.

I like what you have done so far and will be watching for future improvements:popcorn:

Aftermarket header's have thicker flanges, therefore the stock stud's aren't long enough. So the LC stud's are a must! The gasket set was just to make sure i have everything. Also i will post picture's of the fan install, i will be running shorter belt's and removing the idler pulley and making it just a cover. I would say do the fan swap, you will feel a power differance and notice it on the gas gauge to.
