I took a peek at the sheet metal behind the bumper and its very clean with no rot or dents. Some scale surface rust on the floors and frame so planning on a POR-15 shower at some point

I have new hubcaps to go on as well once its buttoned up for good. Keeping the wheels black paint.[/QUOTE]

I'm partial to the oem black wheel look! Looks great John.

Next step is exhaust and minor electrical

Boredom, rubbing compound and Absolut. Avoiding the big to do list for one more night. Paint woke up a bit. Pillars, roof and hood need a half assed paint job. Picking up some engine gaskets tomorrow. Also bolted on some mirrors and new lenses

Might end up selling this beast. went through the calendar for the summer and I wont be abe to do much of anything on this until next Fall or Winter. Have a troopy carrier coming tomorrow which is going to be the family camping rig. I can either have 2 half-assed rigs or one nice one. Got some thinking to do

And there it is...:flipoff2:

Definitely going to sell te LV

Took my kid camping in the troopy this weekend. We had an amazing time....one of those times I'll always remember. The troopy needs next to nothing other than slight mechanical and cosmetics. Decided I'd rather spend time going on adventures with my kids than working in the garage.

I'm into this for $15k including the large pile of spare parts. I could sell for less if you don't want the rims, tires, or excess parts.

I have to replace the timing chain gasket and I have a new radiator to bolt in. Just need a rainy day to do it.

Needs exhaust and elbow grease. I have an impressive amount of parts, enough to finish everything including, interior door handles, new interior door panel kit, rear seat with upholstery, new door hinges, window cranks, door rubbers, window channel, heater boxes and hoses, door regulators, rear inside tailgate panel, extra front seat, extra tail lenses, red paint cans from Sherwin Williams to paint the roof. I have boxes and boxes of great stuff.

There is really no rot on this truck and any rust is surface. No major dents aside from a couple on the tailgate hinges from past people dropping the tailgate and letting it slam. Also the drivers door has a good dent. Otherwise Its really, really straight.

I'll do a more exhaustive description on a FS thread.

Sorta bummed out but far more excited to go camping with the kids. Maybe again down the road.

Do you have any extra interior door levers that you would sell me? Extra surrounds?
