A Thin Red Line was really good but I think it came out right after Saving Private Ryan. TRL was a lot of things but is wasn't Saving Private Ryan.

Wonder if JJ will give us 5 minutes of Ole Luke staring at a light saber or a Storm Trooper s***ting himself as the Rebel Alliance advances on them...

fantastic. blown away how well its written. It may be the best yet. First two episodes are slow but it all matters.
 
Ha. The movie was good, but I just can't call it great standing on its own. I have a feeling once the next one comes out and then the last one, it will make this one that much better. I did really enjoy the lack of CGI, everything felt real. It was a good flick

"hidden surprise", pretty common in the DVD age when you can pause a scene and it not look like a UHF side channel on an old RCA cabinet TV.
