Spectre (James Bond)
Don't waste your time unless you've been keeping up with the last 3 movies. This is the next installment in that story arc (hopefully the last). As a standalone movie it's horrible. There's imagery that will make you think of the old movies from the 60s and 70s, but its not great story telling. Cinematography was good, the new Odd-Job guy (Hinx) was pretty cool, and the womens were lovely as always. Can't wait until they get back to one off spy stories.

Dang... That's disappointing to here. I was really looking forward to it. I am a huge bond fan and thought Skyfall was easily top 5, if not top 3 of all time. I thought they did a perfect reboot at the end of skyfall with a new M, Q, Moneypenny, etc..
I'm disappointed that I paid premium ticket prices to go see it. Wait for Netflix, unless you are a real fanboy. They pull references from Casino, Quantum and Skyfall, so you gotta know the b-characters pretty well. Story is similar to OHMSS (the George Lazenby movie), I won't spoil anything beyond that.

Saw Sicorio with a GF. Not the typical choice for a girls afternoon, but a decent enough movie. Lots of blood and guns. It was worth the price of admission. But that could have been cause we snuck in booze. 
Just saw Gone Girl last night - this is David Fincher at his best. Makes Fatal Attraction look like a Disney movie. Great acting all around and that kid that was in Almost Famous almost snuck by me.

You can only get the unfettered versions on regular DVD. It was a boxed set that had both versions and the original cuts got shafted on the sound quality...'cause George hates America.
