i liked D2 as well. even better than the first one.
I liked the bad guy better on the first one.
Pacific Rim was BADASS. the CG nailed the physics.

Watching Red Dawn tonight... My fav 80's paranoia, the Russians are going to get us movie.

Smurphs 2.. Kids liked it better than i thought it was going to be after seeing its less than stellar reviews.
Kids fell asleep during the Hobbit. Which i was kinda glad. End was a little intense.

Killer Elite was pretty good. Robert Deniro. Based on a true story about the role of the SAS in the Oman war.

Waiting on Red to fly in on Friday, I took the kids to Percy Jackson.
It was pretty terrible, but the two main chicks in it were SO hot.
It was kind of like Zero Dark Thirty, I survived because of the hot chicks.

Kinda hate to admit it, but recently oldest daughter brought home the first book in that series. After giving it the routine 10 minute inspection, I ended up reading all of them. Pretty entertaining, and they follow the Edith Hamilton type mythology pretty closely (if you like that stuff).

I concur. Tinseltown has it playing in their HD theater. If you're in the Pearl vicinity, might be worth seeing it there. (FWIW: Ron Howard compiled all of those cars from collectors, so they're the ACTUAL cars raced by those guys.)

I cannot and will not see that movie. I can't imagine having my children taken from me. Still scarred from Changeling starring Angelia Jolie ( she had a stellar performance BTW). Still think about that one...
