We have a Fj Cruiser. Fairly new. Bought last spring. changed the tires to BF AT's besides that stock. We will be able to let you know tommorow if we are in 100%. Sounds like a good time.

I'm in. My wife may even come along - that would be a first!
I may bring a buddy in his Ranger as well, but will check with him tomorrow.
Probably miss b'fast though - the 'wack is a bit of a drive and I'm lazy...

i Think i will be able to make this one as well. i am gone go with BC4wda
on Saturday and take my son with me on Sunday .
Hope to see you there .

Ricky's Restaurant in Chilliwack for breakfast . Witch Exit is that on ?
i'm sure i have seen it many times . But just for a direction

Sounds like its going to be a good run... I just wish I was not working Saturday night until late Sunday morining. I might try to check in with you on VHF on my way home.

Here are a few good repeaters in the Chilliwack area

VE7RVA 146.610 -600 Tone 110.9 IRLP Node 1461
or
VE7VCR 147.220 +600 Tone 88.5 IRLP Node 1503
or
VE7TMQ 147.525 simplex IRLP Node 1086

VE7RVA might be a good option to use until you are in range to go simplex. You should be able to use it from Surrey all the way to Hope with low power.

No probs. Wouldn't exactly say "pros" but we do like Toyotas. Keep an eye out over here, I'm sure there is probably still a run left in us before the New Year. I'll be working on "Project Resurrection" with great vigour, so my weekends will not be so flexible in the next few months.
I'm going on the WWU #8 tomorrow, might see you around.
Cheers,
Phil

The only thing that will keep me from going is if I cant tighten my front wheel bearings because of overtime on saturday. Hope to see you guys and gals there but if not next time.

Where is the Ricky's?
I'm guessing it's off the highway. Probably drove past it a hundred times.

Take the Vedder Road Exit south, turn right at the light where the Husky station is located. Follow that road just past the "S" curve, you're there.
I'm getting diesel at the Lickman Rd. exit north, at the Flying J shell cardlock station. After filling up, cross the Highway 1 to the north side, take the road parallel to the freeway and enter Chilliwack from the back door to Ricky's.

Flying J diesel is 93.3 a liter: http://www.flyingj.com/fuel/diesel_CF.cfm?state=BC. If it is your first time there, go into the store and tell them you want a fill. They'll swipe your credit card and give you a pump number. From then on you should be able to use your credit card on the pumps for that card reader without having to go in. If you want a receipt, well then your going to have to go in to the store.
