Bug: Mobile App - Push Notification issues

I received a PM from a Mudder. I got a notification of the new PM on my iphone. So far so good.

Problem is, I keep receiving notifications of this PM, about every hour or so. I think I've been notified of this PM about 20 times! Anyone else have this problem? Can I shut these notifications off somehow?

(Note: this is a different notification from the email notification. The email notification is not a problem. But maybe the two are related?)

Appreciate any insight or suggestions.

I got a notification that iOS was going thru some maintenance yesterday...likely related...

When my Android has issues, I uninstall the app and reinstall...thus far, it's fixed any oddities.

iOS notifications are managed OUTSIDE the app...go to your device Settings -> Notifications ... Find iH8MUD and you can adjust them there.

Unsure yet why there are multiple notification issues...

did some additional checking...push notifications were recently disabled (at the developer end) for Android and I suspect they will also be disabled for iOS shortly. The notifications were overwhelming their server and causing issues.

Unsure when they will be corrected...for now, I would suggest not using the push notifications.

I did what you told me, no change. About every hour it starts pinging with notifications.

I'm getting these push notifications every hour. But it is just for 2 PMs and 1 thread. I've even disabled push notifications for the ih8mud app!

At this point, until the developer corrects the issue with push notifications, I would just turn them off completely.

I was just on their support forum, and the issue is widespread. At present, no known solution other than disabling. They may actually do that from their end until they have a fix to implement.

Tried to reinstall , no change . Tried shutting off the push notifications via my I phone settings , no change .
Repeat send on two PM's 30 - 40 times a day or more .
