Kurt is out of touch on a 4x4 trip for a few days, so time for a quick update.

Looks like we've reached our limit for spaces on the trip plus one alternate at this point.

To everyone signed up, if you're interested, don't worry, stay active in this thread as more details become available. If you think are going to be unable to make it, please let us know so we can open up spots for others.

Right now we have some space at the KOA in SLC for Friday and Saturday night.

With our combined group spaces, we can accommodate 12 vehicles/tents. If we need more space, we will try to get more. For Friday and Saturday night, price is $25/vehicle plus $3 per adult with access to all the KOA amenities (bathrooms, showers, pool). Who's interested?

Steve, my wife and I would like to join the group for camping on Friday night. Is that possible?

Thanks!

I booked my own camp site not knowing this was going to be part of the group wheeling trip. I would much rather camp with the group. I know @45Kevin was asking about a site, And you would be saving me 10 bucks a night LOL on this trip every penny counts. Let me know kevin and I are confirmed for a spot in the group and I can cancel mine Thanks Super Stoked and just finished installing the locker in the 45

Ok, got you down. We just got the sites organized today, sorry for the late information. Cancel your other spot and plan on jumping in the group spot!

Steve, Do you have room in that group site for one more? No tent space needed, I sleep in the vehicle, likely just Friday night.

Yes indeed!

We will make enough space for any one from the trail ride to join us at the KOA. After that, we will open up additional space if it is available.

Things are coming together. The 45 is off the jack stands. Lined up for 3 days at the 45 Run then from Sour Grass trail to Green River meeting up with 45 Kevin Tuesday night.

Just got work off for Friday a d Saturday. I'd like to join Thursday night or Friday morning if space is available.

Anyone else plan on arriving in the Green River area a few days early? Suggestions on places to visit around the Green River area?
Am thinking of taking a break from the 1000 miles of seat time to get to Utah, and do some hiking in Goblin Valley & nearby Little Wild Horse on Sunday. Suggestions on camping near Goblin Valley (campgrounds are full) Saturday and Sunday?
Am up for a trail or two and remote camping on Monday & Tuesday into Wednesday morning before the meet up in Green River.
Want to ensure I get plenty of red dirt on the tires while in the area!

Grand Junction CO and Moab/Arches NP are within an hour or so.

We've got a little room left in the KOA spots, but saving them for people going on the Moab-to-SLC run before opening up space for others. So far, here's who we have marked down for space in the campground:

@theferg
@mbradshaw
@45Kevin
@landcrusher909
@NW Wheeler
@eg40 (2 vehicles)
@cruiseroutfit
@SteveJackson

Joining Friday night:
@MicahMan
@cruiserdan
@smittycrusher

If you're planning on joining the Moab-to-SLC run and you aren't listed in this post, please let us know if you plan to stay with us at the KOA or have made other plans.
