Woke up today at 8000 feet. It's 27 degrees and sunny. A great morning to start the day with:D

Hey Johnny, hope that you guys are having fun. If you come across a well built yellow FJ that is my pal Martin. Tell him I said hey! He and Forrest are there from FL. Good guys to hang with.

Stan

Yes we did! You weren't driving your LC, were you? We were in a black F250 towing Mike's blue 62. You see us?

Terry, check the album again. Plenty of pics of. Other rigs in there now :D

Matt, ill call you on our way back through. Thanks man!

looks like a blast.... and makes me want to move back west

I'll have to stop looking at your pics

wow bunch of yankees made it out even OB. Well what do you think about wheeling out there?

Yeah, lots of them made it out, which is a good thing because it gives mike and I a good crew to wheel with!

Wheeling out here is like nothing else I've seen before. It's helping re-prioritize mods I want to do to moonshine and making me wish that she was ready to take this year.

No pics tonight as I filled up my phone yesterday with a video of mike driving Hell's Gate, so most of today's pics, and all videos, are on his camera. My laptop is dead, so I'll charge it and load more tomorrow.

Unfortunately I was sick when we started this trip and I got mike sick (sorry again mike!) so the partying is limited till we're both better.

Dude, Hell's Gate!! Can't wait to see the video. How was the pucker factor Mike?? I keep checking for more pictures periodically on Picasa, so thanks for the heads up. I'm itching to see Burt in action. What kinda' stuff you thinking of changing Johnny?

 R

First and foremost, the toybox is happening this year. Beadlocks are falling down on the list as is the diesel, assuming that I can get this 2F running properly.

110v power is anther things moonshine needs. Gotta be able to charge the laptop! That and more 12v plugs around the cab. Can't have enough of those.

A mount for my Co2 tank, window tint, sound insulation, chopped quarters, sliders, spare tire storage, a place to hang drying clothes...

Adding more as I think of things.

There are a million scenery shots in the album, along with the video of Mike driving Hell's Gate. Go take a look :D

Very good thread.

Agree with your plans vis-a-vis the Toybox. Nothing beats deep gear reduction and lockers in the hard stuff.

Have a great time in Moab. It's like Disneyland for 4x4s with the great scenery and the incredible traction.

I have a brother in Charlotte. He's going to want to come out with you guys for 2013 Rubithon. Right now he has a 200 and an 80, and looking at a 62 this weekend.

I'm going to go back and look at the video from Hell's Gate. That gave me the pucker factor for sure. One of the more memorable moments I've had in my 80. How did the 62 do?

Hope it's OK posting in your club forum.

First and foremost, you're welcome to post in here anytime you want, Drew, thanks for tuning in!

Moab is pretty amazing, and I'm having an awesome time. I cannot wait till I can get my own right out here :D

I'm going to rethink a bunch of things on my truck after this trip. It's helping give me perspective. Thank you for providing your insight over the years my friend:D It'll be excellent to finally meet you in person next year at the Rubithon.

You have a brother in Charlotte? Has he heard of this club? He should come out to some of our events, they're not that far from where he is I'm sure.
