Hey Guys, new member to this great forum. I have a 93 80 series and have been having an odd misfire-ish type of an issue, wondering if anyone has experienced something similar, I have searched high and low and found many useful tips but without any resolve.
So on a cold start the truck idles fine like normal but once i put it in drive and put load on the motor if sputters and feels very weak, after about 5-10 minutes once warm she back to running normal.
I looked to see if any of the spark plug cables had any issues and pulled the distributor cap last night to check for crack, but just could a small bit of oil ( seal probably needs to be changed). I do also checked my CEL ( Ive been driving with 71 EGR a while) and I did have the infamous 83,84,85. Clear the codes and rechecked them when they popped after about 70 miles and it was just showing the 71 again.
I plan on changing the plugs and roar cap this weekend, any help would be mu appreciated!!
