So I just got myself a 74 fj40. Its nice and clean but the mirrors just dont work for me at 6'4". I'm hoping you guys could turn me on to a rear view mirror what drops down a few inches more from the roof and also some side mirrors that are not those little bent bar ones that I cant see anything with. Your help would be much applicated.

Can't help with the inside one, but this worked well on the outside. They are a mirror used on agricultural gear early 2000s, IH Axial Flow combines, 2366, 2388 inside the cab. They are curved but that's a big help, especially on the passenger side. I just squashed some tube for the mount.

I like the hinge mounted arms with the rectangular Toyota mirror. They are available in flat and curved glass. It allows me to fold it towards to hood when trail riding on tight trails. It doesnt require any adjustments once its set. I don't run one on the passenger side. It has to be positioned differently. I dont really understsnd your issue is with the interior mirror. In my case, I'm pretty tall and my seats are aftermarket and positioned differently so I dont have really any issues with it. Of course i cant really see anything behind me if they're close. My 40's lifted to.
