@Living in the Past ,

John, as I'm reading the page from your above owner's manual, the dual-sided turn lamp on the FJ40s used a single filament 25 watt bulb and the entire unit only lit up when making a turn. But when installed on the FJ45, the lamp used a dual-filament bulb to do the same AND also could be separately lit-up as a 10watt running lamp?? Yes/no???

@Bear Mike I couldn't say what is what or even what year the manual was actually from. The winch fairhead suggests later than 61. I am not sure when the single roller was replaced with the later four roller style. I have a 61 FJ40 FHT that was built later in 1961. Still has the larger gas cap, early FJ25 bumper and jump seats with the arm rest at the front as well as the back. But it does not have the air intake in the apron. Has the PTO winch with the factory transmission hump for a PTO. Winch has the four roller replacement for the early single roller. The type in the technical bulletin that does not have the bars running to the back. Will double check but believe all three early manuals are the same.

@swamp-thing If you don’t mind spending some big $$ there’s one on eBay right now. Pretty pricey but as you know you don’t see these ones too often and looks in fantastic shape.

@swamp-thing is a high roller out in Central CITY , and Black Hawk on the weekends i have heard ...........
