Funny: it's easy to get Bfg 255/85R16 in Europe (if I order them, I'll get them in less than a week), but impossible to get any of the rally Bfg tires.
Some time ago you said that Siam are the best tires for sand. Why don't you like them any more? Too many punctures?
If you are looking for a sand tire, I think the G3 will be the best choice. All Bfg rally tires are also diagonal - like Siam and Baja. I don't think that you'll find a radial tire that will perform equally well in sand - but on paved roads diagonal tires are no match for radials.
