Merus Adventure Park is hosting a LandCruiser meet Oct 14-17. This is an amazing area and is the second largest canyon in North America. Hoping to make this an annual event, up until now Palo Duro Canyon has only been available to the Jeep community.

The Merus website indicates that a GMRS or FRS radio is required, but that radios are available to rent. I don't own one and it's too late to buy one, unless I stop in Amarillo. I should probably get one for upcoming Solid Axle Summits anyway. Any recommendations on a good brand/model? Should I get GMRS?
