1) How's the weather at night over there?

2) You are talking about 3" lift and armor. Should I be worried about my 2"-ish lift and running boards?
It should be fairly warm, high 60's to low 70's at night. Usually a little windy at night due to the air temps cooling much faster than the earth.

2" lift and RB will be fine. Besides, you already tweaked them on Gold Mountain ;). You have enough ground clearance for everything out there.

Im very tempted to cruise out for this one. Too gagnarly to make it a one day trip? I'm itching to get out and love JT area.
20 year old stock height on my truck. No sliders. Lockers.

Would be cruising out from San Juan Cap. area.

You should be alright with 2" lift and running boards, IMO.

Im negative lift at the moment. Springs and shocks are iffy. RTT doesn't make it any better.

@OG 91 LC I've seen stock Jeeps out there :D

Those that want a day trip it is very easy to exit the Old Dale area and take hwy 62 back to I10 through Yucca Valley. I'm more than happy to follow/guide someone back to pavement. But I'm camping out there for two night either way.

@leucadiacruiser we can meet up at the 76 and caravan up. There's a park and ride south of the 76 off the 395. Meet at 0830?

Should we exchange phone numbers?
I plan on being at the gas station by 11, but sometimes there are unforeseen event (as in LA traffic).
Probably PM would work best here.

Had a blast

It was a really good time. Got to meet some new faces and get better aquatinted to those I already new. And not to mention some good wheeling and exploring.

At OK Mine after entering from the south side from Brooklyn Mine Jeep Trail. Too bad the sun had already began to set over the mountains. The wood from these structures is absolutely amazing.

We camped for the night on the east side of junction at JT1927 and JT1931.

Sunday morning we said our goodbyes to @Dragos80 and @OG 91 LC and @leucadiacruiser and I made our way south through JT to Pinkham Canyon Rd.

I managed to cause some self inflicted damage to the frame mount of my rear LCA but nothing picture worthy.

Then we headed off to a location that we have deemed not shareable :flipoff2:.
