Out stove top is propane. Previous owners got tired of not being able to cook in power outages.
It's pretty slick. Runs for months on a 20 Lb tank.
Oven is still electric, but at least one thing in the kitchen works.
Ours was out at 930 or so.
I’ve got a couple generators but will wait a few hours. If it’s not back by dinner I’ll turn them on.
At the price of gas even 3.5 litres / 11 hrs.
I hope Maggie’s Fish And Chips has power at 4:30!! That was the plan tonight anyways.

I called the pub. No answer. I’ll check power at 5:30 or so but right now I think they have no power in that part of Duncan. BCHydro outage map on my phone indicated that possibly there is no power there.

We can move en mass if they're closed when we get there. Might be confusing to some (who don't check mud often) if we change the venue so late now.
Called again after looking at the outage map.
No answers and no way to leave message. Possibly having power restored by 6:30 in that area of Duncan. I’m happy with parking lot BS so will head down regardless.

Ours is still out.
Supposedly only since 930 last night.
No crew assigned last I looked.
I connected the cistern to the house with a double ended garden hose, things are much less medieval with flush toilets.
It's was really great to meet all of you, I'm glad I came. I will work hard to get my rig ready for some trails or the next meet up.
