I think Tony and Johnny are but I hate to speak for them. I was playing it by ear with the rain. I am off work at noon.

I was still planning on camping, but more people better raise their hands

Clint and I are coming up in the AM and plan to have breakfast at the resturant around 9:00 - 9:30. Y'all come. We need a count for how many will be wheeling Sunday to know how much to pay tomorrow AM. I was planning to come up tonight but have a chance to hang out with the granddaughter so you know who wins there.

The one on SR41...south side of town.

Question:

If you were camping and you woke up with a condom in your ass, would you tell anyone?

:hhmm:

There was two resturants last time I was there.

Although the crossroads could hardly be called food

Leave this thread you bum. Stop cluttering it up with your input. This is for people who wheel.

Oh and Ill be down there tomorrow morning. Dont wait up for me I dont know when Ill be there. Maybe 9 maybe 11....Ill find the group.

Sorry guys I'm out, the rain has flooded my moms basement so I'll be ratting out a slow basement drain and drying things out.

Made it as far as Rt 41 and Rt24. Between the accelerator linkage problem and a mild backfire issue, I couldn't push it any farther. I made it back without significant issue but the timing/carb issue has me scratching my head. It back fired until I made it back to 41 and Rt 30 then it mysteriously went away. Regained power and acceleration but it started backfiring again about a mile from the house. I ordered a fresh set of points, cap, and rotor and I'll go from there!

On the good side... The suspension is a little stiff but it's damn solid. Steering is quick and right on the money. The new seats are damned comfy and kept me planted the entire time. No electrical issues what so ever and everything worked as designed. When the cruiser was running right it had some decent power. The disc brakes are amazingly sticky and got me out of a jam! Trans and clutch are in good shape. All gauges worked well and showed I have a minor cooling issue. Other than the misfire, I'm pretty happy with it.

intake or exhaust manifold?

If it's intake you might have a vacuum leak that could burn a piston. Might be worth it to read your plugs. If you have a white one, that's bad. If the are black you're running rich and getting unburnt fuel in the exhaust cuasing the popping.

I'll be at the shop today getting eric's rig done and trying to make progress on mine.

Real men wrench. Wussies spend all thier time wheeling.
