This will be my first cruiser, although I have really wanted a 70-72 for some time, just , well, life happens, things unfold, blah blah blah. Regardless, I started looking around, and .... viola, this one came up for sale, and after a few PM's and phone calls, its a done deal.

Rob (the seller) has been great, he has gone above and beyond to answer all my questions and concerns.

After the very recent death of two good friends (married couple who passed in a diving accident), the proverbial "life is too short" thing hit me, so I made the cruiser a priority, and will be using her a lot this summer (and hopefully for a very long time) to really get out and do a lot of back country exploring and camping.

Hope to have her on a truck headed my way this week, get her down to the Cruiser shop in Gilroy for a good once over, add some items (tent, storage, lights etc) and start planning some trips. I am thinking that Big Sur will be my shake down run, its close, and is on the list anyways :D . Will do my best to keep you guys up to date on the truck.

Congratulations! I also chatted with Rob and he was helpful. Tried steering me towards a diesel 60 which I thought was stand up. Life is short so it's great you have a rig that you can plan those trips with. Kudos!

Got the call from the trucker, she heads south on Thursday.
Really pleased that she sold here.
Thanks for the kind words gentlemen.

Ted: Matilda is really hoping you will take her to cruiserfest this year.

Ted, she's headed to you.

It made it, got delivered this morning about 10am. Looks great. Rob (seller) was great, took lots of time to go over the whole truck in painful detail, and was very tolerant of all my questions, so a big thanks to Rob for all he did to make a great sale.

And to celebrate a little bit, since I design and build guns, figured I needed a travel gun, so a painted to match Glock 21 :D

So time to give a good once over, add a few bits here and there, and start planning my first trip.
