It pains me to do this, but it’s time to move on.
Up for sale is my 76 FJ40. Street legal Rock rig.

She’s been an awesome, “point and shoot” rig. Drives down the highway at 70 MPH, wheels trails like fordyce and rubicon and drives home.

That's a good deal for a sweet rig.

Not to clutter up your FS Thread, but what's next?
Are you looking for anything in full or partial trade?

Not sure....
We’re moving down south to Texas where a bulk of my time is gonna spent working and riding horses. Kinda trading one 4x4 for another.
If I get the itch to build something, it’s gonna be a Tacoma.
Kinda want to see what doing down there for wheeling and such.
It’s gojng to pale in comparison to here, though.
This isn’t an easy decision, but I think the market will be better up here for her.

Wow! I loved reading through your build Chicago! I'm sad to see you'll have to let her go...whoever gets her is getting one sick ass rig!

Thanks. It’s a hard decision. However, if no one buys her, she’s staying w/ me.

Does it have a backseat?
It does not have a back seat, but Metal tech, I think, makes a cradle to put one in off of the cage.

She’s SOLD!!
Thanks for all who contacted me and commented.

Man I am happy for you but happy for me too.
I couldn't stop thinking about this thread.

Lol!! I’m guessing you were considering a Matilda purchase?!
She’s going to a friend of a friend. He’s a green wheeler, but I’m sure will grow into all she can do.

Keith,

found ya!

You're probably right that the trails are likely prettier in and around Tahoe, but man, think of all the nice people you've met. Hope you've been made feel welcome. We're glad you're here.

great pics of some nice builds you've done here. very badass!
