Finally after years of search managed to track down NOS pair of ultra rare classic Koito 6L6 semi sealed RHD version. Correct convex lense as early sealed beams. - Now that high amp alternator starting to make some sense.

So were extension mirror arms ever offered on FJ25 or early cruisers? they are just perfect for driving a LHD vehicle in a RHD country.

They are coming from all over the globe but to be honest luck has more input here than my hunting skills.

Looks a lot better from the front now, I know bumper is still not correct but at least it's an OEM.

Some more "Hi-Tech" engineered stuff arrived. All looks awesome, still working on mounting bracket for rear license plate and customs mounting bracket for front license plate, since I don't have a template for it.

Decided to open the brake drums myself for the first ever time in my life. I could manage only one other 3 are stuck together like soulmates. It seems I am missing some bits inside and noticed some damage, possibly doing if th eplace who replaced my brake shoes and brake cylinders in 2006. Please school me if and what I am missing?

Custom solution to accommodate wider NZ/OZ number plates but keeping OEM FJ25 design intact. kinda of hybrid of picture 2, 3 & 4.

Took fuel tank out for cleaning and these babies popped out along with infamous “Thar Gold”. Surprisingly 3 tabs came out and I am missing only 2 on my OEM funnel. Did TOYOTA crew broke one during installation in 1959 and just put another funnel in so no one would know until 2017? - “Quite a Travia”.

Any suggestions on how to put them back with OEM finish?

Nothing much will progress in near future due to work commitments and extensive travelling. Assembled “Sheriff” back as much I could and left him alone in peace. Some obligatory pics & please excuse all the junk in background -

Thanks to Andy Budge who remarked that my Fog switches might have been made for the military grade Toyotas, such as the FQ15

Does anyone have photos of this Switch in use ?

Nothing to update guys as I am not around sheriff since early this year. (Hoping to get back to NZ during Christmas). Since I can not personally measure it, Can someone please confirm me the distance between wiper motor mounting holes on the FJ25 windshield frame?
