Where do I find english owner manuals for the 70 series? I need one for the BJ74 and one for the 1HZ engine/trans

your in japan? should be available from toyota there. I just bought the fsm for a fj80 and it came from toyota publications in the usa. but they do not cover jdms.

I have them, but I can't read them. I bought a translation of my PAjero's manual online. Was wondering if I can do the same here.

The FSM comes in 2 sections Engine and Body/Electrical.

You could use a HZJ75 FSM for your 74,there is little difference between them.
They share an almost identical front clip and the rear is similar to a 75 series troopy.

Aussie Ebay is the best place for used manuals in English but the postage will be a killer.
Otherwise there is the Gregory's diesel manual which covers the whole vehicle in one book for $30 new.
They are more 1HZ specific with pics ,unlkie the FSM which treats the 1HZ as sidenote .

The Ellerey's and Chiltons are the least popular.

There is a place called G&S cruisers in B.C. (canada). I know they have manuals there for my jdm bj74 and they are english. can't remember how much but are great people to deal with in my limited experience with them. if i remember right they are on here somewhere, good luck and I'll post up a link if i can find it.
