only 90% ?

i find it interesting that a narrow nose 70 was illegal in the USA but a wide nose isn't.

Hello,

Whoever convinced those guys that such a setup was roadworthy and US legal is a serious crook.

Juan

That’s why I don’t watch any broverlanding shows, especially US ones. Almost exclusively Aussie for that kind of entertainment for me. In fact one of those Aussies put it well recently when commenting on US YouTube channels, he simply said they are boring. He is right!

Cheers

Some people can pull it off well. I know I couldn't pull it off myself. I am a terrible overlander. I can barely get my HZJ77 out of my driveway.

I drove to Panama and back four times. Does that count as overlanding? 🤷‍♂️🙄

Cheers

Unless you monetized it, social media'd it and had the links plastered on your rig, it was just a trip via overland, not "overlanding"

My wife says the same thing about all of our adventures in house remodelling over the last 20 years. Why didn’t we record it and show online? We would have been rich.

I’m like:
1. I don’t want to be on tv in front of the world
2. It would have to be on HBO with a language warning that more cuss words than real words exist
3. It wouldn’t be a study in marriage on how we are still together after 24 years witn
All the remodels we’ve done.
4. I tend to do things right so ( not according to my wife, see numbers 2&3) so how is that good TV
5. I don’t want to work all day everyday with my wife (see rules 2,3,4)
6. Who wants to read subtitles of me mumbling under my breath, “should have joined the army, should have bought a new house…oh no dear just talking outloud about that measurement!

Come to think of it, this plan might work! 😂 I’m going to start streaming!

On topic:
Lots of builders (not all) end up in this position for whatever reason. Start with fancy builds or show really nice ones, then either outgrow what they manage, or struggle in a niche sector and you get shoddy builds, incomplete etc. it’s just everyone with a phone can be influencers ( whatever that means) and post up 1 sided drama.
Now how much of the maltec drama is legit or not, I don’t know, but we’ve had plenty of people getting not legal vehicles in and sticking others with fallout.

You forgot #7.
7. You’re under a ridiculously short timeline to complete the project or it all goes down the crapper. 😁
