Not sure it's a 83 ! vent in front cowl is 1970 ish. disc brakes up front, 5 speed, power steering ? photos of interior and dash and motor ?
Looks like she has had body work done in the past, how many km or miles on her ?
Cheers

For non-US market trucks, when heaters were deleted the fresh air cowl vent was added instead.

Was at least an 83 originally from the upgraded center console IMO.

Thanks for the information. I'm getting to know my car more and more from this forum.

Roof and back doors coming down.

It's rare to see registration numbers on all side of glass penals. It is part of ministry road transport department's low tech anti theft solution, only cars from the 70's and 80's have them.

It's a colourful rig. Original green, yellow and white.

Good luck to your build.
I know it can be hard to find out parts in msia, but you can find lots of mechanical parts at the many places who sell halfcut.
I was just in Kk last august, climb Mt Kinabalu, some family still lives there.
Do u know Ryan at Kk 4x4?

Hi guys, are there any sound insulator to reduce engine noise coming into the cabin?

I used sound deadning material in the roof under headliner, back tub, foot wells & has greatly reduced the cabin noise. Comes as a sticky backed aluminum sheet, check ebay or if you can find the manufacturer & get it direct save some bucks:)

What colour??? you going for??
I like darker color for a few reason, i'm tired of cleaning up oily finger prints that mechanic leave and second reason, i park under a tree that release tiny spots on the white paint (sorry i don't know how to explain this), and some people will burn my car if i chop down the tree. So I would like to have a darker color for a change.

I'm thinking of toyota's magnetic gray, i like the color and i'm using this picture as a reference.
