Ehsan, hes saying at the least, bore a hole straight into the larger cylinder at the point of the ball bearing and put a grease fitting in there, that way it wil work its way down the inner shaft as you grease it.

FYI: most guys are using a trailer spindle and wheel bearings. That way they are serviceable, and you can tighten them up after they get bounced around a while, and loosen up. Heres a link.

Thank you for the explanation.We are working on an improved design with a curved grove on the insidefor the greese. Will post pics on Saturday.

The Rockstomper spindle is a little weak...............a Slee Offroad spindle is much stouter.
 
so did you make either one an air reservoir?

How do you grease it? And won't the grease lift the pin.

There is a nipple from where grease can be pushed in using a grease gun. This hinge is very nicely made. Even without grease, taking the two parts of the hinge apart takes a considerable force due to air locked in.
