Just saw some pics of Jeremy's trailer in all it's glory at the Overland Expo. Looks great!
Check it out on Expedition Portal, lots of great rigs at the Expo, a must see in my book.

Super Slow Rodeo said:Jeremy, After drooling over your trailer and watching your build I GOT LUCKY!
I thought how cool it would be to be able to build a trailer like yours.
Well I found a deal I just couldn’t pass up.
My new trailer project! [Short Hijack ON]
It’s made from an old early 1951 model GMC Pick up frame and bed.
Tail gate picture!
Seems my Aunts farm still had this old trailer I last used back in 1966 still behind the barn. She passed away about 4 years ago. I remember at 16 years old loading it down with bales of hay to throw out to the my cows I had mixed in with hers. The Family was cleaning off the property to put it up for sale and said I have it cheap.
I went after it last weekend and brought it home. Sure thought the wife was going to hit the ceiling over the thought of having another trailer. I already have 5 trailers, so this will make 6 trailers now! She said, “Oh what a cute trailer!” Yea for me!
I brought it home on my Dune Buggy trailer!
The trailer bed measures inside at 50.5” wide X 78” long X 14” tall to the fold over. The fenders are long gone so that meams I can build my own and have fuel/ water racks next to them.
It has some surface rust, but everything on it is solid, including the stake bed pockets, and it still has the original wood floor under the steel plate in the bed.
They built them to last in 1951. Which BTY is the same year I was born!.Yea, I know I'm older than I look!!!!
THe best part is it's long enough I can carry my motorcycle in the bed with the tail gate down if I wish.
I will be studying you build with a new fervor!

Looks like the trailer worked out great! My trailer build has finally just started... so I'm super jealous of the pictures.
How are the custom shackles working out? It looks like you would have some serious rubage if it were to bottom out. I basically copied your fenders, and have the same size 4R wheels, now that the fender frames are done I'm starting to second guess the fit.
