I’ve had this M100 long enough that it’s time to refresh the paint. I’d say it’s a bullet proof little trailer but when I got it years ago it had about 20 big bullet holes in it. Apparently someone stood it up on end and hung targets in it. The paint is semi-gloss OD green from Kaiser Willys.

Good for another 20 years.

Still have to figure out what I want on the inside. Bed liner never seems to last. Something that goes on thick that I don’t have to deal with. I have a hinged plywood top that goes on it with a thick canvas tarp so it won’t be seen too much.

Nice little rugged trailer! Good choice and job on the paint! However just a curious couple of questions. What do you use it for - over landing? Or is it used for hauling stuff around your property or maybe both? Reason I'm asking is with that welded tailgate it, would seem to be extra difficult to empty or clean out and hard on the back to have to lift everything in and out. I'm familiar with utility trailers, but not well versed on military trailers, so please forgive if they're dumb questions.

No such thing as a dumb question. The M100 (Korean War vintage) never came with a tailgate. Just a box on wheels that will actually float if you close the two drains on the bottom.
I use it for a little bit of everything. With the plywood top it makes a great base camp table to cook on, hauls brush and firewood on the property, dump runs… just a good little utility trailer. That being said, the lack of a tailgate is its biggest flaw.
I have thought about cutting in a tailgate like on the Bantam trailers but haven’t because I have a little 12’ utility trailer for the heavy stuff.

Another problem with them is the lack of space to carry a spare tire. It wasn’t a problem for the military because it used the same wheel / tire as the vehicle pulling it. I originally cut in a receiver in the back and welded up a tire carrier but it was too much weight if the trailer was empty. Recently I moved it to the front.
Lots of different solutions out there, this just works for me.

What do you reckon an M101 CDN2 is worth these days? It has had a strip along the seam cut out for Rust repair on one side. Will need paint and some TLC. Has original lunnet for pintle hitch.

Seller is asking $1000 usd. Should I buy it or not? Planning a long trip and I’m going to need extra space my 40 doesn’t have.

Welded up, painted, good bearings, and decent tires, would I be able to sell it for more than $1000 usd?
