LX570 sliders- gauging interest (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the confusion, this thread was not started by us and the list by the OP to see what interest there was for LX570 sliders in general and to possibly shop the list to another fabricator.

We maintain our own back order list and I just posted here to update the thread.

FWIW, we are just seeing how many of our back order list coverts to see when we need to put a 2nd batch in production. Once the back orders are caught up this will be a stocking item.

The back order to order conversion is a little bit of a guess so that is why we just need to run through the list and see how it pans out.

Hi Sleeoffroad....
Do u have a price on these sliders or pm me please? Looked at your website n dont see them up, thanks...

I picked up my Slee LX570 sliders yesterday. Finish and quality look great. They weight about 110 pounds with all hardware and the led light kit. My only nitpick would be that the hardware isn't metric but at least the quality is good and replacement hardware would be easy to find if ever needed. Looking forward to installing them this weekend. I plan to trim my existing rocker panel steps.

RE: the hardware, ideally everything should be metric, however for general attachment where we do not go into holes on the frame etc, we use standard due to cost. Changing all the hardware over to metric would have a pretty decent impact on price. This is one of those areas that we make the judgement call on cost vs. need. We do not feel the added cost of metric hardware gives the customer that much better of a product vs. the cost gains.

Also where possible and required, we provide grade 8 hardware for strength.

OP & @sleeoffroad - I'm in the interested list for a set of sliders. Based on recent comments, I'd want the AHC and LED add ons.

Sorry to take a tangent....

Wait......the TOTAL weight of BOTH sliders (and hardware) is 110 lbs???

That's not bad, right? Are these same sliders available on LC?

I assume that if they are avail on LC, then you need to manipulate KDSS lines to install these sliders?

drool... do the lights plug into the factory light on the stock rockers? one light per side?

You need to call slee. Replying to a post is not the same as placing an order.

Two lights per side, they tap into the factory harness, no plug, unless you make one. the kit came with 4 lights, mounting plates, and hardware.

Interesting. It’s hard to tell from that picture, but it looks like the lights hang down below the sliders.
I would have assumed downward mount vs the outward/tilted. Thanks!

Yes, both sliders and hardware in packaging weight 112 on my scale. Sounded good to me but I don't have anything to compare them too. Note the separate add-on protection for the globes they hope to have available later this year is not included.

They sell this same style for the LC, no KDSS manipulation needed.

Interesting... “outward or tilted” mount. I would have assumed downward. Thanks!

I'll take pics when I have them installed but I'm guessing it lights up the holes in the step plate more than the ground.
