I'm in Oklahoma and on the Slee list for sliders. The quote is a bit more than what was mentioned in the poll. Would not be opposed to volunteering my rig as well, if another may be needed-
Following for good info on sliders!

Oh no. Appears we have lost momentum and need to rebuild it.

Oh No!!! Don't loose momentum. Not now when we are so close. I am keeping this thread alive.

There is nothing out there for LX owners. Anybody that makes sliders and bumpers for the LX will be a very busy person. There is demand. I believe Slee makes a great product. Cost doesn't bother me too much. But, The real trick is that you have to take the truck to him for the install. Parts don't get shipped out to your local shop. My schedule is such that this is the real problem. I can't get to him and back.

Trail Tailor - I don't have a Lexus. I actually have a Lepus. It is a very similar truck with similar badging etc... Can you make me a bumper now?

We're at the point where @reevesci is looking for a model, and needs to schedule a few weeks out. Redding CA. Had a couple models in @i4c4lo @cc93cruiser but schedules were conflicting and I think they aren't booked yet.

It's a solid offer @reevesci made earlier in the thread regarding incentives to the model. Solid enough that the $650 to ship my rig down (@reevesci also indicated he might be able to drive down in mid-July from PDX, but that was way back in May) is possibly becoming an option. I think a more local model option is more workable, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Agree that a vendor is likely to sell 10-15 sets upon completion.

Why do you say this? I bought sliders from Slee for my 80 and they shipped them to me no problem. I'm on the waiting list for LX sliders and am planning on doing the install myself after they ship them to me.

I said that because it is true. I have called multiple times hoping they could ship to Phoenix. Each and every time I was told "No, because the instructions were not ready and the install is tricky." If this has changed then I will happily "stand corrected" because this means I can get his wonderful sliders without having to go to Colorado. I will stand by what I said until proven otherwise. I hope I am wrong and will call Slee again tomorrow.

Lots of us are on that waiting list. Until there is a shipping product, it’s just a waiting list. Competition in the marketplace is good for innovation, and good for price control too. Choices are always a positive thing.

This isn’t about one fab over another, we are lucky to have the wonderful vendor support we have, who make niche, quality, well engineered products, which sell in very low volumes. It’s a labor of love.

What is the end result vs the stock configuration? What is gained and lost? Price?

I’m considering sliders but not sure exactly what the end product is here. If attractive and you guys need a backup test vehicle, I might be able to help in mid-July.

@Dan Lee This thread is for centralizing demand for custom LX570 sliders. These would be in the same vein of design as the TLC options, but with brackets and design considerations for the LX. Some discussion of desired attributes are in the first post.

OK, here is the story on the Slee LX570 specific sliders. As of today, we had two sets to ship. We are calling customers that is on the list based on the date they inquired. Pretty sure these two will not last long. We now have instructions done.

The issue we ran into is that we were forced to move all our sheet metal slider production to a new facility (same issue that is affecting bumper supply) and with that, we are experiencing delays.

Here is a link to the install instructions for more details on the sliders.

@sleeoffroad Thanks for adding the install instructions. Really appreciate it. Hoping my phone will ring . . . and barring that, looking forward to more stock in the near future.
