Hello everyone. First time, long time.
I've noticed that my rear hatch on my 2004 LX470 leaks during heavy rain or in the car wash, and I've figured out the problem. My rear hatch is misaligned, so the weather seal on the driver's side does not make contact with the body, allowing water in. The driver's side of the hatch stands a bit proud of the body, which creates the gap. The pictures below demonstrate the problem.
What can I do to get the one side of the hatch closer to the D pillar? Thanks.
