Does anyone make a headlight upgrade for 2005 LX470's that is plug-n-play? I'm fine with a little bit of wiring but don't have the time right now to do a HID retrofit. I own my own business and this is our busy season.

I know doing this myself would save a good deal of money but just looking to purchase a whole assembly already upgraded.

Thanks

There are 2 guys around here that make projector retrofit headlight assemblies.
I forget their names but should come up in a search. One is something like LightWerks.

You can order the H1 lamps and ballast kit from Morimoto, WITHOUT needing to change the OEM fixture at all.
It will just drop into the current headlights and provide MUCH better illumination. Then you can swap to the Morimoto projectors later when you are ready.
I ordered the projectors and the kit, but ended up needing to buy new Lexus headlight assemblies and popped the lamps and ballast into those before a long road trip, They work so well that I didn't need to swap the projector assemblies after we got back.

I would order the higher temp lamps like 5000-5500 over the 3500 temp lamps I purchased.

I had these built from a headlight builder. Can’t recommend the shop right now but these are excellent. These are glass lenses from Japan & with 90W Bi-LED projectors. They are as good or better than the LED lights on my LS460 F-Sport (since sold). I don’t know the brand of the projector but they instant on, aimed correctly and I’ve not had one person flash me for being in their eyes despite living in the mountains with plenty of grade changes on the back roads.

Personally, I prefer the OEM look and these work great for me.

There are headlight builders on the web that can do these. You can get the glass lenses from Japan but I don’t have that source as he ordered them for me.

You can toss a 35W HID kid in, shouldn't take too long. If you're short on time, get everything mounted on a Monday, and swap the bulbs and plug the ballasts in Tuesday night. Here is an old thread I did, with some pictures pre-lens swap of the HID cutoff. It's acceptable.
