i'm looking at purchasing a LX450, its triple locked, but none of them work, i'm i right in thinking that if the centre diff lock does not work the other will not be able to be engaged?

thanks

Correct. Center needs to be locked first.

Have you crawled under and verified its an actual triple locked one?? There's been more than one post on here where seller says its triple locked when it isn't.... lol

If the CDL doesn't work you can trick the Diff Lock ECU into thinking it's locked by jumping the terminals on the switch at the transfer and then testing the lockers.

i haven't been to take a look at it yet, just making a game plan for what needs doing, i'll make sure to have a crawl underneath to have a look to see if the lockers are physically there. but im hoping they are and i only have to fix the center to get the rest working.

thanks for the help

There is an entire section in the Toyota FSM for troubleshooting the CDL and axle lockers.

on this site, i cant seem to find it, any chance of you sending me a link, im a bit slow on figuring these things out. Thanks
Dig around in here:

There are countless threads on CDL and lockers through just google search. Also scroll to the bottom of the threads on here, there are "similar threads" that come up automatically. Hope you have lots of time on your hands, lots of reading!!! lol
